Fruit Salad Jewellery

How about making your own jewellery set using these fun polymer clay fruit beads? During the workshop you will choose which fruit beads you would like to work with.
Once you have chosen your fruits then you can choose a selection of smaller seed beads to use in your design.
We will learn how to use a bead board to help with designing necklaces and then you will bead your necklace in your own pattern. You will learn how to attach your wire onto your clasp using crimp beads and flat nosed pliers.
We will have time to make a matching bracelet and some earrings. Don’t worry if you haven’t got your ears pierced, we have got clip on earrings.
1.30 - 4.30pm
Shamballa Style Bracelet
Ages 12 years and above.

Come along and join us in a relaxing workshop where we will be making shamballa style bracelets.
These are lovely bracelets to make and once you have learnt the knots then there are many different styles you can make. You can make the bracelets with just three shamballa style beads or up to 9 beads. We will start by making a 5 bead bracelet. You will learn how to make the square knots and then how to add the beads, then how to finish off the bracelet.
We will have time to make more than one bracelet and also a necklace using the beads if you would like to.

Friday 11th April 2025
1 - 4pm
Metal Stamped Aluminium Cuffs
Ages 14 - 18 years
£40 pp
Join us for our brand new workshop for older teenagers. Metal stamping is a technique where you mark the surface of metal with a design by hitting a stamp to create an impression. It lets you create your own one-of-a kind designs as you can add letters, words and symbols to make your own truly personal piece of jewellery
During our workshops you will first get used to the tools involved and practice metal stamping on copper blanks. This will help you to learn the techniques involved and how to work with the hammers. Once we have got to grips with stamping then we can create our design on our aluminium cuff.
During the workshop you will make one 10mm aluminium cuff and two 6mm aluminium cuffs.
This is a great workshop for older teenagers as it starts to introduce metal working skills, all ready for when you are old enough to move onto silversmithing.
All materials and tools are provided.

Tuesday 15th April 2025

Polymer Clay Easter Egg Necklace
Ages 6 years+
£20 pp
Come along and join us in this workshop where we will be making polymer clay Easter Egg necklaces.
First of all we will make our Easter Eggs from Fimo modelling Polymer Clay. Polymer clay is an easy to use and fun modelling clay that is non toxic and perfect for children to work with. It is easily shaped and is then baked in an oven where it hardens and is then used for jewellery making.
Whilst our clay Easter eggs are cooling we will make a necklace from large hole acrylic and wooden beads, perfect for little fingers to thread onto our acrylic cord. For older children we can use smaller seed beads.
If we have time we can make a matching bracelet.
1 - 3.30pm
Crystal and Pearl Memory Wire Cuffs
Ages 8 years+
£25 pp
At this workshop we will be making a memory wire cuff bracelet. Memory wire is hardened metal which keeps it’s shape so it’s perfect as a bracelet as it coils around your wrist.
First of all we will choose our beads and colour scheme from the crystal rondelles and faux pearls. Once we are happy with our pattern we will add these onto the wire. Once all the beads are threaded on we will finish off the cuff by adding a charm.
We will have time to make more than one bracelet or a matching chain necklace.
This is a lovely relaxing workshop.
