“Fruit Salad Jewellery”

Come and join us at our children’s jewellery workshop where we will be making beaded “fruit salad” jewellery.
First of all we will choose the polymer clay “fruit” beads that we want to work with and then our colour scheme. You will learn how to attach your wire to your clasp using flat nosed pliers
We will have time to make a bracelet and earrings as well. Don’t worry if you don’t have pierced ears we have clips.
Efcolor Enamelled Animal Pendants

Join us at our jewellery workshop for older children where we will be making Efcolor enamelled animal pendants.
Efcolor powders are an easy to use method of enamelling metal at low temperatures. We apply the powder to our chosen pendant blank and then heat it on a table top oven fired by tea lights, where it melts to coat our material. It is safe to use for teenagers as we don't need very high temperatures.
We will be learning about the different finishes we can get from the enamelling, such as patterns, adding embellishments. Once we have got the hang of the process we will enamel our choice of pendants. We can either then add these to necklace chains or bead a necklace. We will have time to make more than one pendant.
It is a really fun process to learn and you get to take everything you make home with you. All materials provided, wear old clothes!
