Summer Boho Jewellery

10am - 12.30pm

During this workshop we will be making Boho style bracelets, perfect to wear during the summer.

There will be lots of beads to choose from, including semi-precious gems, faux pearls, clay beads, seed beads and many more.

You will decide on your colour scheme and then make the jewellery you would like to wear You will learn how to attach your wire to your clasp using jewellery tools.

There will be time to make lots of pieces of jewellery.

Silver Heart and Semi-Precious Pendant & Charm Bracelet

During this workshop for older children we will be making a pendant and charm bracelet using semi-precious beads such as rose quartz and amethyst.

First we will be making our pendant . We will use jewellery tools to shape the heart from sterling silver wire and then lightly hammer it to strengthen it. We will add a semi precious bead to the bottom of the heart and then make the chain using flat and round nosed pliers.

We will then make our charm bracelet by attaching semi precious beads and charms to a silver plated charm.

If we have time we will also make some earrings.

This workshop is a great introduction to jewellery techniques using tools.
